About Nishtha

Kartawya Nishtha is about staying true to our duties in everyday life. Real change comes from the everyday things we do, not just the big promises we make.

To support our society and community

In today's world of rush, screens, and self-interest, it's easy to forget these basics. Kartawya Nishtha is a gentle reminder that every act of care, no matter how small, adds up. And when done together, these acts can shape a better tomorrow.

Our Core Areas

At Kartawya Nishtha, our work is rooted in three simple but powerful areas of duty

Inner Well-being & Values

  • Caring for our own mind and character.
  • Practicing yoga, meditation, and healthy habits.
  • Living by values like honesty, responsibility, and compassion.
  • Remembering our nagrik kartawya duties as citizens

Nature & Environment

  • Respecting and protecting the Himalayan region and beyond.
  • Keeping temples, rivers, and mountains clean.
  • Reducing plastic, planting trees, and saving water.
  • Seeing nature as our mother, not a resource to exploit.

Social Duty & Society

  • Helping people around us through simple acts of seva.

Why It Matters ?

Kartawya Nishtha was born from what we see in the Himalayan region today. Floods, landslides, cloudbursts, and plastic waste choking rivers are no longer rare events they are reminders of what happens when we ignore our duties towards nature.
